The fish is soft, juicy and flaky. First time going my chips were loaded in garlic butter which we loved, the next times we went the butter quality had dropped but that's okay. Love how they make Toasties for a quick bite while fishing. Service is okay. Overall I very much enjoy the fish from here.

The most expensive fish. I didn't like that it was fried in oil. When I tried to break a piece of fish, a lot of liquid came out. Chips are OK, standard scoop size. Best place and value is Trinity Cres, even Tamatea. Both cook in shortening, as does Pirimai. I'll stick to them from now on. Trinity cres has the best batter
